La Rue Homes, Inc. along with several other Tulsa area businesses joined together to help Donna Lambeth, a foster mom from Broken Arrow, to rebuild her home from a fire that happened in September (2008). Ms. Lambeth has opened her home to foster children, mostly with special needs over the past 12 years. They rented a home until their home was complete.

Ms. Lambeth searched for several weeks for someone to help her repair their home. After contacting Mr. La Rue, and hearing her story he offered to donate his contracting services. Instead of repairing the home from the state left by the fire, Mr. La Rue decided to demolish and build back the home for Ms. Lambeth. After seeking the help of fellow businesses and contractors, Mr. La Rue received an overwhelming response to donate services, materials or both.
